Plural and singular noun

SINGULAR AND PLURAL NOUN
The singular form of a noun refers to one person, one place or one thing


The plural form of a noun refers to two o more person, places or things.

RULES:

1.  Most nouns form the plural form by adding the letter "s" to the singular form of the Word.

Examples:

SINGULAR        PLURAL
Tiger                    Tigers
Book                    Books
Basket                  Baskets
House                   Houses







2.  Nouns that end in ch, sh, ss, x or z, form the plural by adding "es"


SINGULAR        PLURAL
Church                    Churches
Whish                   whishes  
Kiss                        Kisses
